The website was launched in 1998 as Taro Matsumura’s personal website. In 2001, it has started using Movable Type, a blog system, and it’s called “weblog” or “blog”. The main theme is lifestyle or workstyle using mobile and social media.
Especially, it has Apple, Mobile Native, Nomad, Social Learning categories. And the site also has category supporters like Castalia (a social learning campany in Japan), VIVA JAPAN (a social commerce company based in Singapore and Japan).

After the great earthquake in 2011, all companies or workers started to think about their work style. These goals are more efficiency, more deep use the Internet and mobile technology, and more effective provision for any kind of risks.

Sotowork.jp is a think tank and a web magazine of work style for after the earthquake. It is edited with Kokuyo, Taro Matsumura (@taromatsumura), and Sota Furuya (@sotacafe) built with Tumblr. This website introduced activities of companies, know-how of nomad work style or collaboration.
